The newest member of Shig Shag, Sara began entertaining at an early age. Accompanied only by a foam microphone she nicknamed "Mikey", Sara was the Master of the Hearth, and appealed to audiences both young (her sister) and old (her mom). After Mikey and Sara toured her living room for a few years, Sara moved on to bigger and badder things, with a lackluster starring role in the eighth grade Catholic school rendition of "The Wiz."
Upon entering Vanderbilt University, she joined the Swingin’ Dores, an all-female acapella group world-renown for their lush harmonies and controversial spelling of the word "door". From the sugary-sweet sounds of the SD’s, Sara moved on to Dallas and joined Sourpuss, the all-girls ensemble who learned how to make a band, and subsequently a margarita, from scratch.
Sara was granted an audition with Shig Shag after proving that she could ably move guitar equipment while wearing her hot pink boa. She hopes to continue her multi-tasking talents in Shig Shag with the tambourine and an occasional one-finger keyboard solo.
